How Many Will Notice?

Major Malik Nadal Hasan, the primary shooter involved in the Ft. Hood killings earlier today, has far more in common with the Islamic terrorists we are fighting against than the men and women of the U.S. military he was going to be fighting beside.

It is not yet clear whether or not Hasan was part of a terror cell or whether there was more than one shooter. Whether he acted alone or singly, this was an act of Islamic terrorism – no matter how much the media tries to obscure the fact.

Of course, Obama and the MSM can never admit that radical Islam is among the greatest foreign threats we face today. Obama doesn’t even think the murders at Ft. Hood are worth mentioning until two and half minutes into his speech. His arrogance and disdain for the military become more obvious every day. Disgusting.

Change or Die

The republican party, on a national level, continues to show that it has learned nothing from McCain’s defeat. Michael Steele has demonstrated that he’s clueless as to what the party base will tolerate from its leaders.

The politicians who seek to win elections through giving up conservative principles fail to realize the republican party has to change or die. If the establishment throws its weight behind another McCain (like Gingrich or Huckabee) in 2012 it will practically be guaranteeing itself a loss. At least one third party conservative candidate will rise up to make sure of it.

If the gop fails to return to its roots, it will die. If the party leaders are unwilling or unable to accompish this return, I wish the party good riddance. The conservative movement will continue to grow. Whether or not the republican party bosses have the sense to ride the crest of that movement remains to be seen.

Imagine All the People . . .

. . . blindly following the orders of their “betters.”

Actually, let’s just imagine that the health care reform bills really are about improving health care, which they aren’t. Let’s imagine that the liberals in congress really have our best interests at heart, which they don’t. Let’s imagine that all the language in these bills is easily accessible to the public and a lawyer doesn’t need to be present to translate them from legal speak (that’d a be a big negative on both items).

Now that all that has been taken care of, here’s yet another serious problem with their plan: all of the health care bills in congress would force people to buy health insurance. What Constitutional authority does the gov’t have to make anyone buy anything, honestly? This crap about mandatory health insurance being covered under “promote the general welfare” isn’t going to fly. The gov’t is tasked with providing for the common defense and promoting the general welfare, not the other way ’round.

Quite honestly, it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says. The socialists and fascists we have in office believe that the Constitution is only a document which impedes their ambitions, anyway. We must continue to make phone calls, write letters, send e-mails, and participate in enough marches to make it clear that not even ACORN’s best efforts will be sufficient to preserve them a place at the tax payer’s trough.

An Ounce of Flesh

Rush Limbaugh loves professional football. The gov’t controlled media and liberal talking heads have just destroyed his dream of being able to (at least partially) own a NFL team, due in large part to slandering his character with a manufactured quotes. I could be wrong but I suspect Rush is going to get some payback, although it could be months before we start to see how.

If I were among the key figures responsible for this, I would stop gloating and start to realize that the single most influential person in the conservative movement has just become my personal enemy. Rush has the money to proceed with legal action against those involved while digging up stuff on them that they thought only their high school girlfriends knew. Actually, he aired some of Rick Sanchez’s dirty laundry today. I think they picked a fight with the wrong former fatty.

Faulty Math

I’ve always been kinda math phobic, so it may well be that I’m just missing something here.

The Congressional Budget Office has just come out with the estimated price tag for the socialized health care bill coming out of the Senate Finance Committee. What I want to know is how do you spend $829 billion over 10 years to reduce the federal deficit $10 billion when we are already broke, with a $1.4 trillion deficit and $772 billion owed to the Chinese?

And if $121 billion is coming from new taxes on health care industries, where is the remaining $708 billion coming from? I’m thinking taxes on the so-called rich isn’t going to cover the spread. Middle class types will find themselves facing more new taxes in some way, shape, or form to cover the difference. Will health care industries be allowed to pass on these expense of their extra taxes, somehow? If so, the middle class feels the hit. If not, there will be extensive layoffs in these industries.

Either way, power will continue to be consolidated at the federal level, so Obama wins in the end. Hope and change, baby.

Here’s a Shocker

Maybe Feldblum can get together with Jennings and push for gov’t-sponsored sexual encounter groups made of middle-aged adults and junior high students. This might run contrary to the wishes of the imams, however. Daddy O. can’t run the risk of offending a non-Christian faith. Besides, that kind of perversion wouldn’t lend credence to O.’s claim that we are a Muslim nation.

If You Don’t Like the Effect, Don’t Produce the Cause

This story from the U.K.’s Guardian does a great job of capturing the pain inflicted on Californians by the state’s socialist policies. What is notable by its absence, however, is any explanation of how these problems came to pass. The writer never points out the glaringly obvious fact that California has some of the most liberal policies of any state in the nation, a place where farms dry up to avoid bruising a minnow.

Where California is now is where all of us will be soon enough, if the dems shove socialized medicine down our throats and Obama is allowed to continue with his fascist policies. We need to stand up and make our voices heard. If the gop has lost its will to fight, we need to throw it away and create a party that represents the ideals of America’s founding. It’s not yet too late.

The Truth About the Czars

Despite someone saying that the Obama administration thinks vetting has something to do with providing health care for pets, the truth is that our teleprompter-enhanced POTUS knows exactly who he is selecting as his extra-Constitutional advisors. Communists, tax cheats, terrorist sympathizers and those who promote pedophilia are just regular Joes in Mr. Soetoro’s world.
